Pianist Lynne Haeseler is a versatile artist who has performed internationally and nationally as a soloist, accompanist and dance pianist. Although trained as a classical concert pianist, the limitations of traditional classical piano recitals motivated Dr. Haeseler to create her own unconventional performances of classical music.
Solo performances In 1991, Lynne broke away from traditional piano recitals to create "metaformance,” a term she coined to describe a new theatrical setting for solo piano performance. The integrated art performance combines other art forms, such as, movement, stage lighting and spoken word to enhance the experience of classical music.
Dance pianist a gifted dance accompanist, Lynne has served on staff with Vail International Dance Festival, Arizona State University and Ballet Arizona. She has also been a guest accompanist for American Ballet Theater, Paris Opera Ballet and Pacific Northwest Ballet.CD recordings Classics for Ballet and Classics for Pointe available at briorecordings.com
