THE STUDIO OF DR. LYNNE HAESELER
Mission Statement: to provide a comprehensive arts education through the study of piano and music to inspire the joy and love for music.
Description of studio: one weekly lesson with performance opportunities throughout the year. Other occasions may arise in tandem with my own performances, such as observing ballet arizona rehearsals, performances at Borders Books and Music, the Ambassador Program (outreach performances at Senior Living Communities).
Teaching Schedule: Mondays and Thursday Steinway of Phoenix, Scottsdale Rd/Acoma
Wednesday Trinity Cathedral, Roosevelt/Central Avenue
Philosophy of study: learning encouraged through the teacher student relationship, performance opportunities and a well rounded music education. Study includes music history, insight into the lives of composers and their compositions, music theory, improvisation and the development of technical skills through classical and popular music.
Teaching experience: A Phoenix resident for over twelve years, Dr. Haeseler enjoys a reputation as an outstanding performer and a compelling teacher. Her innovative instruction techniques make use of storytelling and metaphor to enhance the personal relevance of music for her students. An ardent advocate of bringing individual character to performance, she enables students to “take the music off the page.” she brings a unique style of teaching through her experience as a dance accompanist and integrated arts performer.
Tuition and Fees: Tuition is due and payable at the first lesson and is nonrefundable. Optional payment plans are available.
Full tuition: 32 lessons a year, starting week of August 27 through week of Dec 17 (15 lessons), beginning again week of Jan 7 through – May 5 (17 lessons). Last weeks of December and last weeks in May are reserved for make-ups.
